Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
During your job search, you may experience setbacks or moments of doubt, but this period is one of the most important times to think about your future. While it’s crucial to consider questions like "What do I want to become?" or "How do I want to work?", it’s equally important to reflect on what you’ve valued most in life. By keeping this in mind as you move through your job search, you'll be able to view various industries from a different perspective, which I highly recommend.

Mr.S

Things I like
As a member of the planning department, I, in particular, have the opportunity to encounter a variety of "new things" across different fields in my work. What I’ve learned has often led to new personal hobbies as well. For example, recently, I’ve become deeply interested in crafting leather products, such as wallets and belts.
What I value in my work

-
Q. What is your motivation for applying?
The reason I became interested in the company was because they dealt with security products, which were unfamiliar to me at the time. I learned that the company constantly challenges itself by improving existing products, developing new ones, and expanding into various fields beyond just security supplies. This dynamic approach inspired me, and I decided to apply because I wanted to take on similar challenges in product planning.
-
Q. What gives you a sense of fulfillment in your work?
At Kinboshi, we are constantly challenged with new opportunities, and as employees, we are fortunate to have the chance to experience and learn from these innovations. It’s incredibly rewarding when the products we’ve developed based on those insights are actually helpful to our customers. Regardless of how long you've been with the company, it has a culture of actively embracing good ideas and suggestions. I find great fulfillment in seeing my own ideas and proposals take shape and become a reality.
-
Q. What are your future goals?
I believe that "fulfillment" in anything is something you have to find for yourself. There may be times when you feel uncertain, wondering, "Am I on the right path?" (I’ve felt the same way). However, instead of overthinking, it might be good to approach things that interest you with a clear and direct mindset. I know this is a challenging time, but I sincerely wish you the best of luck.
-
Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
My goal is to approach each planning project I’m responsible for with sincerity and release products that truly benefit our customers. I strive to continuously think about how we can make our customers happier, always working with a mindset focused on improvement. Even in everyday life, by changing my perspective slightly, I often discover various hints and ideas. Therefore, I believe it’s important to stay alert and open to different fields and areas of inspiration.

Things I like
I enjoy reading books. Recently, I picked up a sports-themed coming-of-age novel, and reading it again after a long time, I found myself approaching it with a different perspective than when I was in my teens. It was really interesting!
What I value in my work

-
Q. What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying comes from the certainty I gained during my internship that the future vision I aspire to is achievable. I was drawn to the opportunity to be actively involved in research and development, rather than just contributing to a small part of creating new products. I also resonated with the company's approach of maintaining a stable foundation while continuously challenging itself in new fields. This is why I chose Kinboshi.
-
Q. What gives you a sense of fulfillment in your work?
I find fulfillment in being able to take on entire projects. I also enjoy the fact that the work environment is very dynamic, allowing me to quickly put into action potential approaches I’ve proposed. The increasing number of development projects is both exciting and rewarding. Especially when I see tangible results that lead to future opportunities, it significantly boosts my motivation.
-
Q. What are your future goals?
In the future, what I want to achieve is to see the projects I’m working on become products and successfully commercialized, thereby providing value to society. Furthermore, after commercialization, I aim to deliver the added value that customers truly need, creating a sustainable business. To achieve this, I plan to not only focus on studying the specific areas and skills I’m directly involved with but also develop a broad range of interests and dedicate myself to continuous self-improvement.
-
Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
I recommend clarifying your future goals and career plan, and then checking during company visits or interviews to ensure there’s no mismatch. Also, at Kinboshi, since there is generally no personnel transfer between offices, it’s important to consider whether your work attitude aligns with the colleagues you will work with. Keep striving in your job search to find a workplace where you can enjoy working.

I love listening to music, so going to live concerts is both a way to relieve stress and a hobby of mine. It's not just on weekends—sometimes I even go to concerts after work on weekdays, which really helps keep me motivated.
What I value in my work

-
Q. What is your motivation for applying?
I wanted to be involved with a company that provides essential products, even if they aren't widely known, and that’s when I came across Kinboshi. The company has a strong market share within the security industry and is always attuned to customer needs, continuously offering products that meet those needs. I was drawn to this approach, which led me to apply.
-
Q. What gives you a sense of fulfillment in your work?
Since we handle most of the work from development to sales in-house, the breadth of tasks I’m involved in leads to the discovery of new ideas. While collaborating with the development team to advance system development, I find it highly fulfilling to see not only customer feedback from sales activities but also my own ideas take shape and become reality.
-
Q. What are your future goals?
My goal is to expand the system we offer as a management service and have it recognized as something essential for the security industry. By providing services that align with the ongoing advancements in IT, I aim to contribute to the digital transformation (DX) of the entire security industry. I hope to be involved in creating services that support this transformation.
-
Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
I believe not everyone has a clear idea of what they want to do or what they want to challenge themselves with. Regardless of the starting point, sometimes the path becomes clearer through the people around you or the environment you're in. I think it's important to be honest with yourself and take the time to reflect on your feelings.

That’s why I decided to join.
-
Q. What gives you a sense of fulfillment in your work?
When I receive words of gratitude from customers over the phone, I feel a great sense of fulfillment. However, as I kept working on it, I was able to reduce the time spent on tasks, and I was happy to realize my growth.
-
Q. What are your future goals?
There is still so much I don’t know, but thanks to the support of my senior colleagues, I am gradually gaining knowledge and improving my ability to respond. I will follow the example of my seniors and strive to become someone who can be relied on to help others when they are in need
-
Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
I know this is a challenging time, but I believe it’s important to gather information by listening to what the companies have to say without rushing. If you have any questions, ask them during the interview, and think about how you would work at that company and whether you can envision yourself thriving as an employee. Keep pushing forward with your job search, and know that I'm rooting for you!

What I value in my work

-
Q. What is your motivation for applying?
I have always had a passion for clothing, and while searching for opportunities mainly in the apparel industry, the term "security uniforms" caught my eye. I became curious, wondering, "What kind of industry is this?" That was the beginning of my interest. I also learned that the company is not only focused on the security industry but also invests in research and development across a wide range of fields, which made me realize it is a company full of a spirit of challenge. I felt that being part of this environment would contribute to my own growth, and that’s why I decided to join.
-
Q. What gives you a sense of fulfillment in your work?
I am able to make suggestions and express opinions with free, creative thinking, without being constrained by fixed ideas, and the company respects this approach, which allows me to work freely every day. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in being able to apply my personal experience and knowledge, gained from my love of fashion, to my work.
-
Q. What are your future goals?
Every day, we handle thousands, sometimes tens of thousands, of products, and our role is to deliver them accurately to our customers. To achieve this, I constantly think about how we can improve teamwork to enhance operational efficiency. My current goal is to build a stronger, more cohesive team that can work even more effectively together.
-
Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
In my case, when visiting companies during company tours, it was important for me to ask, "Can I envision myself working here?" I believe that it’s essential to visit the company and get a feel for the atmosphere during the job search. Even if you’re not sure about the industry or the job type, exploring from this perspective might be a good approach. And if that company happens to be Kinboshi, you'd definitely be welcomed with open arms!

Things I like
I was originally a dog person, but since I rescued a cat in high school, I have become a cat person. When I come across stray cats, I rescue them and look for adoptive families. Seeing lives smaller than mine, I don't want to ignore them; instead, I want to be someone who can protect them.
What I value in my work

-
Q. What is your motivation for applying?
I loved sewing and was looking for a sewing company, but at that time, there were no job openings in the sewing field. However, the principal of my vocational school found a job opening at Kinboshi and made an appointment for me over the phone. When I went for the interview, it turned out that it was actually a job opening at IPCC. Despite there being no sewing positions available, they still took the time to interview me, and that led to where I am now.
-
Q. What gives you a sense of fulfillment in your work?
When I am able to complete the tasks assigned to me accurately and quickly within the designated time. When a prototype I suggested is adopted and turned into a product, contributing to the company's sales. When I see the growth of the employees I have trained in sewing. (Through guiding them, I can also learn and improve my own methods.)
-
Q. What are your future goals?
As a sewing instructor, my goal is to provide clear guidance to beginners, helping them improve their sewing skills and become valuable assets to the company by quickly becoming effective contributors. At the same time, I aim to enhance my own skills by learning new sewing techniques, moving beyond traditional methods, and continuously improving my own expertise.
-
Q. A message for people currently job hunting.
Ideal and reality often differ, but first, by faithfully listening to the guidance of senior employees and building a track record, you will gain the trust of those around you and confidence in yourself. Acquiring skills will become a powerful asset for your future. Rather than thinking you can’t do it, why not take the first step towards becoming someone who can?
